Self-balancing algorithm and compatibility

The MLI series offers extreme lithium-ion performance even under the harshest conditions, such as high charge and discharge currents, wet environments, mechanical shocks, or vibrations. This is achieved by combining our best lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) cells with a proprietary battery management system (BMS) in a robust, waterproof housing.

The sophisticated Mastervolt BMS ensures optimal utilization of each individual cell. Integrated battery monitoring provides you with accurate and up-to-date information about your battery's condition. Integrated NMEA2000, CZone, and MasterBus communication enables complete system integration to guarantee the best possible charging while maximizing your battery's lifespan.

Self-learning compensation algorithm

The MLI Ultra batteries are equipped with a self-learning balancing algorithm that predicts the behavior of each individual battery cell and proactively balances it, resulting in a faster and more efficient charging cycle. This self-learning system eliminates unnecessary stress on the cells, leading to an even longer battery lifespan.

Performance in freezing cold

The MLI Ultra 1250 features an integrated thermal pad and sophisticated low-temperature control to ensure maximum charging performance in sub-zero temperatures. In cold weather, it uses the connected charger to power the heating pad and keep the battery cells above freezing. This guarantees the fastest possible charging and full performance, even on the coldest days.

Integrated battery switch

The integrated battery safety switch disconnects the battery cells in case of anomalies. This is based on intelligent algorithms that analyze all details of the battery's condition, such as charging current, temperature, cell specifications, and more. Where other integrated switches have current limits, the MLI Ultra 1250 delivers continuous power up to 200 amps.

Plug-and-play through automatic configuration

Installing a lithium-ion battery has never been easier. Simply connect the MLI Ultra 1250 to any supported Mastervolt charger and the communication cable, and the battery will automatically configure the charger to perfectly suit your battery. This ensures a smooth and hassle-free charging experience without the need for any configuration tools.
