By using a Battery Mate or a battery isolating diode together with an Alpha alternator, two or three separate battery sets can easily be charged simultaneously.

TIP: A second alternator on the main engine in combination with a larger battery bank and an inverter could be an alternative to a generator.

For all engine types

Alpha alternators are equipped with various mounting brackets for manufacturer-specific alternator mounts, which you can obtain from your technician or engine supplier. Some engine brands already offer optional Mastervolt alternator mounts.

Fast charging, even at stationary speed

Standard alternators only deliver their specified capacity at high engine speeds. The Alpha alternator from Mastervolt was specifically designed to charge powerfully even at low engine speeds.

Multi-grooved pulley

The 12/130 and 24/75 models are also available with a multi-groove pulley.

Functionality > 40 °C

The enhanced cooling effect via the fan action enables strong performance even at higher temperatures, even in enclosed engine compartments.
