Description

LOCTITE SI 5699 is an engine gasket sealant. It is made of flexible silicone and upon contact with air forms a durable rubber gasket. The product is mainly designed for sealing flanges with excellent oil resistance or for sealing rigid flanges, such as those in gearboxes and cast metal engine sumps. The product is resistant to glycol water and can be used on machined or cast surfaces, metal or plastic.

Recommended for sealing all types of clamps, including stamped ones when water/glycol resistance is required. | Not sticky after 10 minutes.
